Navigate

For teens and adults

Practical coaching for teens and adults who want better tools for the life they're already living. We keep it clear, focused, and useful from the first session.

Is Navigate right for you?

If situations like these sound familiar, Navigate could help. You don't need a diagnosis, and you don't need to know exactly what to ask for.

For teens

  • School stress and trouble studying
  • Feeling overwhelmed and not knowing where to start
  • Getting ready for what comes next, like careers and becoming an adult

For adults

  • Stress from parenting, marriage, or work
  • Trouble sleeping
  • Trouble focusing or staying organized
  • Feeling stuck, scattered, or like talk therapy has not quite clicked

Not sure where you fit? If your situation doesn't match another pathway, Navigate is a good place to start.

What we do

  • Get clear on what matters most to you, and set goals that fit
  • Build skills for planning, time, and following through
  • Practice ways to handle stress and strong feelings
  • Shape habits and routines, including sleep
  • Individual sessions online, so you can meet from home

How is this different from therapy?

Navigate is coaching, not therapy. Therapy often explores your history and feelings. Navigate stays with today: what's getting in your way and what to do about it. Our method is based on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), which helps you make room for hard thoughts and feelings while you take steps toward what you care about. If you're working with a therapist or doctor, Navigate can work alongside them. It doesn't replace them.

What working with us looks like

  1. We talk about what's going on

You tell us what you want to change and what matters to you.

  2. We choose a focus

We pick one or two things to work on first, so it never feels like too much.

  3. You practice between sessions

Sessions are structured and practical. You'll leave with something to try.

  4. We review and adjust

We look at what's working, keep it, and change what isn't.

What it costs

Illuma is a private-pay practice, so we don't bill insurance. We share our fees during your first conversation, before you decide anything.

Common questions

Is this therapy?

No. Navigate is behavioral coaching. It uses the same science that therapists use, but it is focused on skills and action rather than exploring your past. If you need a therapist or doctor, we'll tell you.

Do I need a diagnosis?

No. Navigate is for anyone who wants practical tools, with or without a diagnosis.

How much does it cost?

Where do sessions happen?

Sessions are online, so you can meet from home anywhere in Mississippi or Kentucky.
